Fixed costs
Fixed costs by area vs. income
The gap between the stacked areas and the income line is your free money after fixed costs.
Table view
Free money per year

Fixed costs as share of income
How much of each euro earned is committed before you spend anything.
What changed your free money
Spending habits outside fixed costs
All categories per year (€/month)
Year by year
Change against the year before, in € per month (the current year is compared with the same months of last year). Only moves of €10+ (fixed) and €25+ (spending) are listed.
Fixed cost items and their price history
Every recurring booking, grouped by name. Renamed items appear twice (for example "Miete" became "Rent (50% share)" in April 2026).
Method
- Fixed costs = every expense created by a recurring entry, plus everything in Subscriptions and Insurance (before 2026 these were often booked by hand). Small recurring items like Jobrad and the gym are shown under "Subscriptions & other".
- Free money = income minus fixed costs. Left over = free money minus all other spending.
- Only complete months are counted, and future bookings are ignored. The current year is an average of its months so far (marked with *).
- Income is what is booked in the app (salary). The shared account counts as fixed even though it also pays joint groceries, so "Groceries" looks lower since 2022.
- Read-only: this page reads the Haushaltsbuch through its API and never changes anything.
